The Holiday Goods

Here they are! Coming soon to an etailer (or a bricks & mortar) near you!

PERFUME OILS

Arctic Bear Perfume Oil (Limited Edition): Cave in to shivery pleasures with this festively icy blend straight from the North Pole. A playful mix of aromatic Northern bayberry, frosted Siberian fir needle oil and the dry freshness of snowy woods. Hail the Great Arctic Bear!

La Befana Perfume Oil (Limited Edition): Notes of ripe apricot, Sicilian blood orange, dark chocolate, smoked vanilla, and toasted biscotti combine to evoke la Befana, the Christmas witch of Italy who slides down chimneys to leave sweets for very good children and lumps of coal for the very bad.

Solstice Sugar Perfume Oil (Limited Edition): Rejoice in the return of the sweet sun-child throughout all the jolly festivals of the Winter Solstice. The scent of warmest celebrations and Yuletide feasts with notes of toasty almonds, apple cakes, baking spices and honeyed mead.

The Ulda Perfume Oil (Limited Edition): The elusive fairy folk of the Nordic Sapmi region are said to live underneath the Earth and travel in reindeer-drawn sleighs tinkling with silver bells. With white almond, resinous Baltic amber, crisp bayberry, warm cardamom and pink pepper.

Winternights Perfume Oil (Limited Edition): The ancient pagan Norse revels of Winternights and Walpurgis once marked the beginning and ending of a long and frozen winter season. Feast, give thanks, ward off Frost Giants, or just frolic with this mirthful Northern mix of three vanillas, frosty peppermint, a dab of white musk, and a hint of ripe young berries encased in ice.

SOAPS

Arctic Bear Soap (Limited Edition): Cave in to shivery pleasures with this festively icy blend straight from the North Pole. A playful mix of aromatic Northern bayberry, frosted Siberian fir needle oil and the dry freshness of snowy woods. With coconut milk, white macadamia oil and sweet almond oil. Hail the Great Arctic Bear!

Hogmanay Soap (Limited Edition): Go first footing with our fragrant paean to the Scottish New Year. The scents of heather and damp moss mix with a generous pour of Scotch whisky, organic oats and sea salt. Warning: bathing with this soap may cause the spontaneous singing of Auld Lang Syne.

Solstice Sugar Soap (Limited Edition): Rejoice in the return of the sweet sun-child throughout all the jolly festivals of the Winter Solstice. The scent of warmest celebrations and Yuletide feasts with notes of toasty almonds, apple cakes, baking spices and honeyed mead. Enriched with sweet almond oil, coconut milk and a merry dusting of gold mica.

The Ulda Soap (Limited Edition): The elusive fairy folk of the Nordic Sapmi region are said to live underneath the Earth and travel in reindeer-drawn sleighs tinkling with silver bells. With white almond, resinous Baltic amber, crisp bayberry, warm cardamom, pink pepper, soothing macadamia oil and fragrant cedar tips.

SUGAR SCRUBS
8.5 oz jars of emulsifying body scrubs in our signature scents

La Befana Scrub (Limited Edition): Notes of ripe apricot, Sicilian blood orange, dark chocolate, smoked vanilla, and toasted biscotti combine to evoke la Befana, the Christmas witch of Italy who slides down chimneys to leave sweets for very good children and lumps of coal for the very bad. Made with shea butter, pure cane sugar and finely-ground apricot kernels.

Solstice Sugar Scrub (Limited Edition): Rejoice in the return of the sweet sun-child throughout all the jolly festivals of the Winter Solstice. The scent of warmest celebrations and Yuletide feasts with notes of toasty almonds, apple cakes, baking spices and honeyed mead. Made with shea butter, gently exfoliating brown sugar and apple extract.

Hiya Robyne,

Hmmm... it's tough to say who exactly will want what as far as local retailers go. I will try to figure this out, however, and get you an answer in the next few days.

HELP!

Any chance of your products expanding in the Massachusetts area? I live in 01604 zip code but frequently travel particuarly to Salem (witch City). The only dealer right is located in Haverhill which is not exactly convenient. It's a hall and out of the way whereas other areas are more convenient off the highways.

Any chance of going back live soon??

BY the way, I just love the packaging on your items. ..very cool

Dude, anonymous, try living in Canada. One retailer in the entire ginormous country, and it's in WINNIPEG. WTH? Winnipeg? What about Vancouver? Montreal? Even... *gag*... Toronto or Calgary? But... Winnipeg???

You have questions, I have answers.

RE: Portland sources. The downtown Whole Foods will eventually (within a week?) have the holiday soaps but not the oils. Then the new Whole Foods will have a couple of the holiday things, but not all. Also, Greg's on Hawthorne has a few of our holiday offerings, but not everything. Probably the most complete local source is Gorey Details. I'm not positive about where exactly one can shop in person with them, but I think that can be done, so you might ask them about that. http://www.goreydetails.net

RE: Direct retail sales. Barbe, I'm not doing any retail selling or swaps at the moment, but I'd love to check out your Etsy store when I get a chance.

RE: Massachusetts. You're in luck. You can now find a selection of our soaps & oils at Remember Salem, 127 Essex Street, Salem, MA 01970. Phone 978-741-1170. They don't have any of the holiday stuff (yet), but you might still be able to catch some of the Hallowe'en 5 mls.

RE: Canada. Lohengrin, I hear you. We should be in Vancouver at the very least, since it's so close and all. But the good people at Kustom Kulture in Winnipeg are super cool.

Julia

Hmmm... I don't know anything about Beautiful Things. Remember Salem is a new retailer for us, but I don't know how long they've been in existence. They are connected to the Histrionic Academy people. Anyway, they're really nice, so give them a call (978-741-1170) and I'm sure they can help you.

Hi ,

I am working with Actress and entrepreneur Tonya Lee Williams, best known for her 15-year starring role on The Young and The Restless. She founded RWFF ( www.reelworld.ca) in 2001 in direct response to a lack of positive diverse stories on screen and sustainable opportunities for emerging talent of colour trying to break into the Canadian entertainment industry.

How can I contact you in regards to product donations for the swag bags that will go out to the Celebrities , Producers etc. at her film festival in April ?

Thank you.

Hi Julia,
I just discovered Arcana, and I am truly smitten! I love the Halloweenies. Sleepy Hollow is the perfect Halloween scent! I only wish I found Arcana before you were taking it away. Guy Fawkes gets more than a penny in my book, earthy and yummy. I love Little Ghoulie too. Cindy at Magical Omaha told me that your Winter update would be soon and warned me I would be wanting them. : ) I am waiting on pins and needles for it. Any sellers in Austin TX? We have several places I think your lovely creations would sell well. Book People and we have Whole Foods. There are more too. I want to enable the whole world now! Thanks Julia, you creative goddess you. : )

Blessings,
Neely

Hi Neely!

Thank you for all of your feedback and kind compliments. No, there are no retailers currently in Austin, and we're not really accepting new retailers at the moment, but hopefully the etailers can continue to hook you up.

I'm very glad to hear you're smitten, sweetie.

xo,
Julia
